The World Atlas of Higher Education, using the technology from „Google-Maps“, is available on www.moveonnet.eu. Beginning from the world atlas, visitors can zoom to continents, countries and even individual universities. Further links accompany the visitor from the geographical display of the universities to country specific information or standardised university profiles. Be it study offers or university rankings – the new interactive World Atlas of Higher Education is a reliable source of information for students and partners worldwide.
 

Stuttgart, 30/09/08 – It’s almost that time again: In October thousands of students will be filling the lecture halls and dreaming of foreign lands. Spain, France, Australia – out in the big wide world and spending a semester studying abroad. However alongside exam stress and the part-time job, finding the right university abroad sometimes proves more difficult than imagined. The choice is huge and the organisational hurdles often high. From now on this task is supported by the World Atlas of Higher Education developed by unisolution. With help from the interactive world atlas under www.moveonnet.eu/directory/world-atlas students can now quickly and easily find comprehensive information about more than 5,000 universities worldwide and the corresponding countries.

With just a few clicks users can quickly check with which countries and universities partnerships and exchange programmes exist and it is even possible to create street maps for the new “home”. 

The World Atlas of Higher Education is embedded in the web platform www.moveonnet.eu which was created in 2006. moveonnet aims to not only simplify the daily work and exchange of information between International Offices but also help students plan their semesters abroad.
