17 May SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED FOR INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION IMPACT AWARD 2016.
International Ed-Tech specialists, QS Unisolution has announced the shortlist for their second annual IMPACT Award. The ceremony to reveal the winners will take places on Thursday 16th June 2016.
The IMPACT Award recognises the impact of international mobility experiences on personal lives, achievements from both an academic and employability perspective, cultural development and transfer of knowledge. The Award also showcases the hard work that goes into creating experiences by the Universities involved.
The shortlist for the ‘best student mobility experience’, category includes: David Smith from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, Jan-Peter Hansen from The University of Göttingen, Germany and Maria Teresa Sanz Gomez from The University of Navarra, Spain.
The shortlist for the ‘best staff mobility experience’, category includes: Jason Sargent from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia and Rebecca Whitford and Debbie Rolls both from Bradford College, United Kingdom.
The nominations submitted from international offices from across the world, were of a fantastic standard, all of which shared unique and impactful international education experiences.
Commenting on the final shortlist, QS Unisolution CEO Gurtej Sandhu said: “It is always an inspiration when we receive the nominations for these Awards. The dedication, hard work and the impact that the international office and students have is truly humbling. The nominations this year have been amazing and we congratulate all those nominated and best of luck for all those shortlisted.”
The finalists will be decided by a panel of judges, including PIE News Co-Founder and Marketing Director, Clare Gossage, Senior Manager for IIE’s Centre for International Partnerships in Higher Education, Clare Banks and QS Unisolution’s CEO, Gurtej Sandhu. The Awards ceremony will take place at QS Unisolution’s MoveON Conference in Valencia, Spain.
